Oscars have an aggressive nature, but given plenty of room and some rocks or driftwood for other fish to hide amongst, they will happily share a tank with American cichlids of similar size. Heavy feeders, Oscars prefer bulky foods such as pellets or live fish and usually grow to 20-30cm.
